Apple Store Bath opening

Apple opens a store in Bath, UK.

Hundreds queued up to get their first look inside the new Apple Store in Bath.

The first 1,500 (including yours truly) received a free t-shirt and enough high-fives to give you RSI.

Everyone had a great time including the security guards who'd ask the people in the queue what their names were then tell the staff. The staff would then chant names as people walked, and ran, into the store.

It was quite an English shop opening: all very polite and well ordered. A bit of screaming, but without being uncouth.

they always make it so exciting when they open up an apple store. there's something about apple products i cant seem to put my finger on it.
