@sparkshallsworth I've never heard the Jim Morrison compairison but Lanegan resembles Waits in voice and slight appearance... I don't think it's a bad thing... Just interesting.

Why do People constantly compare Mark lanegan to Jim Morrison and Top Waits, none of these artists could have performed with Screaming Trees, QOTSA, Isobel Campbell, does anyone really give a shit about these comparisons ?, just enjoy and be thankful for the different styles of music he brings to us.
