It's been years ..I am assembling one of each a KB2 and 3 from the inventory purchased when the shop closed. for what I don't have the tooling and jigs will guide
me. very interesting construction between the two,Mix and match?
In the US an aircraft in the Ultralight category, FAA Part 103, does not need to be registered. The owner/operator maintains the airplane and does not require a pilot license. There are strict rules governing max speed, weight, fuel on board, and types of airspace where it may legally be flown.
There is something I do not understand about this. When you build the plane by yourself, you do not have to follow some laws in the US. I found a law that sais bassically the same for EU countries. I was just wondering what obligations concerning maintainance, registration and flight licences will you still have to follow or are there none?

Great little gyro, I've wanted one for some time. Good job, it seems to track very straight!
