Resident Evil 4 - Handgun Only Run Chapter 5-2a

Chapter 5-2 Part A:
In the beginning, it is very important to get rid of those "Hammer time!"-Ganados as soon as possible. They are fast and hit hard.

The lava pit room was a mess. -____-
Basically it consists of killing every enemy on sight. xD
Usually you would just throw some flash/incendary grenades, but since I don't use those, my handgun had to do it. Ashley was out of danger, I only had to "rescue" her when everything was done.

Lol, indeed it was, but wait until I get to this chapter on my TMP run... Since this will be a combo-run of a knife run + a scratch TMP (upgraded lateron), this will be HORRIBLE!

Thank god I already watched some stuff to have a strategy to use here, with a knife only. xD

You make it look easy, which it definitely is not.

I found if you exit the prison right away, and go through the door to the right, then re-enter the area, you can run around all the ganados without too much trouble. Also, in the lava pit room, you can run straight to the lever, pull it, then run out and around the pit and back to the lever and pull it again, and repeat, then call ashley and quick run through the door, not having to kill anyone. Just a few ways I found to save ammo.

Ugh, the dreaded 5-2...the ultimate chapter of pure, and utter bullshit. I can see how picking off each enemy in that lava room is hard....but suplexing is dangerous when you're around a bunch of axes, hammers and maces, because there's always that one asshole who hits you afterward. This is also the chapter where I ran out of ammo...and had no choice but to start over. It was worth it when I did beat it, but that memory will never die......
