BMW E46 Convertible Key Remote Roof automatic open & close M3

BMW E46 convertible roof opens and closes using the original key remote. I fitted a module from http://www.cabrio-module.de/ that controls the opening/closing of the roof. It takes around 20 seconds from initial opening to roof tonneau closing away so you can be in the car ready to pull away straight away rather than sitting in car pressing button.
There is nobody in the car before somebody says it :)

Nice!! I'd hate to accidentally press that button while the key was in my pocket and have the car open up in the parking lot LOL!

how did you set it up to work with the original key? i have a bmw 330ci 2005 convertible and i can put the roof down with my key in the door but not just from the key is there something i need to buy?

I used a module from cabrio-module.de (link above) as you can get the for various manufacturers & cars so I keep getting one for my car. It takes me less than an hour to fit as it's just 5 wires and it's mainly the taking out of a few bits such as glove box and putting them back that's the time consuming part
