Hecla Mining Co was mining the Grouse Creek Mine in the early '90's. It was located where Grouse Creek and Jordan Creek come together.

...must be 2 Jordan Creeks then. I've panned the Jordan Creek right below Silver City. It runs to Jordan Valley, Oregon and it's a long way from the Salmon River area.
