Peter Taylor famously dismisses Botham

With the series already lost, Australia was determined to restore some pride in the fifth test. They gambled on the virtually unknown offspinner Peter Taylor on a Sydney wicket traditionally known for its turn. Australia batted first and was virtually carried by Dean Jones' 184 not out. After the quicks took care of England's top order (3/17), the ship was steadied by Lamb and Gower.

Enter Peter Taylor, who announced himself with the prize wickets of Lamb and Ian Botham cheaply. He wasn't done and went on to claim 6/78. The tone was set for the rest of the match and the spinners continued to dominate. England's Phil Emburey claimed 7/78 before Australia bowled England and won the match thanks to a 5/72 haul from Peter Sleep.

I remember Peter Taylor's catch right on the boundary, it was one of the best catches i've ever seen,i think Australia was playing India in a One day match, and he caught the ball in the air stretching up with one hand -brilliant! i think it was in 1988/89
