'The Black Book of English Canada', by Normand Lester (translated by Ray Conlogue). Interesting book on the subject containing verifiable facts.

  • OMG its the Quebec Lennon! .

  • You got allot of nerve buddy

No one, neither Francophone or anglophone gives a damn about England or France, The only reason we still have the queen is because were too lazy to have a referendum on going republic, or spend the money needed to scratch her face off our Loonies and twoonies LOL!

Anglophone and Francophone, No longer automatically means white, Most "Metis" those of mixed blood between white and aboriginal are anglo-francophone speakers.

  • My problem is as quebecer, Is the fact that our hospitals are not fully bilingual and don't offer their paper work in both languages, I accept that Quebec is french, There is a "reverse discrimination" toward the anglophone patients receiving care .

The Quebec city government, Never shows any concern for the retired elderly anglophone, People in their 70-80+ who left the work force before or soon after bill 101was put in place, accommodation needs to be made for them.

  • higger23, The problem is your are suppose to adapt yourself to the place you live... if u dont want its your problem.Canada is a billingual country or suppose to.But many Billingual province like ontario dont wanna try speak french. If u wanna get serve in restaurant u need to speak in english.they dont even try.

Thats why les Quebecois dont wanna speak mostly or only english in they own province. We need to do progress all around the country. Not even on our side.
