Simon beat Brashear in the AHL, well before Brashear reached his prime. A prime Brashear is a superior fighter compared to a prime Simon.
While Simon did have a great left, he didn't possess the orbital crushing power Brown had.

@SIoyvenheaven1 And Dave Brown was a better all round fighter, but my personal opinion is that Simon's Left was incomparable to any other.

Brown, Brashear, and Laraque were all better southpaws compared to Simon.

@SIoyvenheaven1 Brashear was one of my favourite fighters, but he got his ass beat down by Simon. And again, as fighters, no doubt in my mind that Laraque and Brown were better fighters, but my personal opinion (which I don't expect you to agree with) is that Simon's jackhammer lefts were the greatest.
