I think war with Iran would be absolute catastrophe for the entire world, Ron Paul is the only one who is saying this. This would benefit a very few people and destroy the lives of god knows how many, including many of us. I can't get myself excited by the former governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney. All of my associates point to the baggage of Newt Gingrich and the inexperience of Santorum as dangerous attributes to a Presidential nominee. Romney they say is safe choice and has been thoroughly vetted from his previous run for the office. Technically speaking the US already had CIA operatives and small military divisions and advisers in Afghanistan in the 1990s under Clinton, and yes, a few thousand ground troops there beginning in 2001, but the focus of the effort under Bush was the invasion and occupation of Iraq. The US war escalation in Afghanistan and major troop deployment to the 90,000 at present did not happen until Obama was president.

A few of these candidates are blatant warmongers and OPENLY so. I can guarantee that a big percentage of the European people have already lost faith in their big brother, another war will really seal the deal for just about everyone. I don't want to see the day where supporting dictators instead of the US is the norm, oh wait, it's already happened here. -_- If the entire world could vote, Ron Paul would win, and the belief that US is our greatest friend would be reinstated in time.
