Didn't find out alot of history. We talked to the nearest neighbor, that knew the couple that lived there. Ruth died before her husband, she also had a history of mental illness and suffered several nervous breakdowns. The couple adopted a son, he died in a car accident. That might have contributed to one of her nervous breakdowns. Kernit, her husband died in a nursing home about 20 years ago. The house has been abandoned ever since.

Creepy! The farm house looked a little hazardous, hope you guys were safe!

The floors were good and sturdy. I think at one point the owners tried fixing it up and gave up on it. It's kinda creepy there at night.
