It is so difficult to see Rob like this. It must have been very hard for him to sit, and not move and groove on stage as always. But that is the way I'll remember this sweet, handsome man, belting out his music as only HE can....Truly, THE voice of the Grass Roots. ~~Rob, you are so missed and loved. For me, that will never change.
67 is to young to die, the man was so talented and he kept the music of the grass roots true. One of my favorite artist and a great family man. I know he loved Nancy. RIP my friend thanks for sharing your gift
Thank you for posting this great video.I love the Grass Roots and was so saddened by Rob's passing.R.I.P. Rob...hope that you will continue on in "Rock & Roll Heaven"
I love Rob, but this is sad to see. I can hear his voice pretty well here. You can see he's pouring his heart out. You can see the difference between his range of motion between the right and left arms. His left arm is dominent and has full range of motion. The right arm appears to be weak and he can't lift his arm up. Then when he stumbles at 2:39, then he holds onto the stool for support. Poor guy, but he still has the voice. Love you, Rob. Wish you all the best.
Yes, I saw him about a year ago, hedidn't sing all of the words, let the band do it. I read somewhere he had a mild stroke. Some of his movements look like he may have. This, along with his long time degererative bone disease, I almost wish he would hang it up. The band without him is nothing more than a tribute band. He looked bad the night I saw him, and he doesn't' look any better six months later in these videos here. There is something about old rockers, they almost never fade away.

Wishing Rob well, but the band is covering for his voice. It's been like that for a few years now.
