MJ was only born in new york he never lived there. the only reason he was born there is because his mom was in new york on business and went in to labor his fam never lived there.

Yeah,  thats great & may very well be acurate, but he still acknowledges Brooklyn. Thats means something right?

i guess but maybe spike is acknowledging brooklyn i wouldnt say mike. but hey if bk claims mike i dont see nothing wrong with it.

Well, whatever the case, my point was to provoke thought on the subject of his kicks & how they affected the community. What can you say?? I'm not really expecting a response from him per say, but just to know different opinions on his blind eye towards it. (or not)

well actually the culture of the shoes is another story alot that comes from portland oregon.tinker hatfield lives here and when the shoes come out we get em early sometimes so it acutally begins here with popularity. some jordans are not released everywhere. the inner city always loves the shoes well.....because hes mike lol hes the best player ever.

Yeah, Dead Kids. Not sure where you were during the early 90's but kids were getting "KILLED" over a pair of Jordan sneakers. When you hear this "Yo son, what size are those???" in the early 90's you needed to start figuring out what your next move is gonna be!

I was born in '93 so yeah my memory of the early 90's isn't so clear lol, do wish i was in that generation over this one though
