4.5 psi of boost and it runs 12 tenths of a second quicker than a stock TL and it makes over 100 more whp. I would say it's pretty efficient

What a retarded comment. This is a 05 TL as it states in the description. If you're dad's 05 TL a-spec runs 13.2 in the 1/4, my name is Barrack Obama. Chances are it's not supercharged and if it is, he cannot drive it to a 13.2. My guess is you're referring to the 1/8th mile

So from 270hp stock you lose 55hp from the crank to the wheels even tho its FWD...then at 327whp you only run a 13.2...thats pretty crappy and you might wana learn to drive better, its generally not recommended to bounce off the rev limiter multiple times, seems like ur 1/4 times could be quicker

Ignorance is a bliss. First of all, the car was rated at 258 hp to the crank. I put 215 whp stock. Since you are so knowledgable, you lack knowing that the TL weighs 3800 lbs. My 1/4 mile time is one of the quickest recorded.

What a dumbass. 13.2 is one of the fastest times recorded on a 3G TL. You're the idiot bolting up a 3.3l to an auto tranny. If comptech offered the m90 I would have gotten it. Bring yo 4-speed auto over and let me wax that ass.

That is pretty disappointing. Supercharged TL running low 13s? There is a SC TL in my area that keeps trying to race me. I would rape the shit out of it in my 335.

@types09 PART 2: ..without risk of blowing gaskets as TLs simply weren't made for forced induction - I think this problem may have been fixed by now as I've seen several videos of 3GTLs running at close to 400bhp at the whip (dunno how long they last as a daily though). Anyways, for comparison purposes, a 370Z (330bhp, 3200lbs, RWD) runs the quarter at about 13.2 @ 105mph, so uploader did a good job as his TL weighs slightly more but then again, has better grip off the line.

@types09 PART 1: 3GTL weighs ~3450lbs. Type S is rated to 290bhp (give or take 2-3 bhp) while regular TL is 260bhp however 2005 TL had about 270bhp - uploader had TLS rims, NOT a TLS. Quarter mile depends on which source you look at, but most rate it mid 14s for TLS and mid 15s for TL. 2 and half second drop is pretty damn good considering his supercharger only makes 4psi. However I very much doubt it makes over a 100bhp more considering most people have trouble getting their TLs above 330bhp...
