  • Well I'm not exactly sure how it is in the U.S. but in Canada lifeguards must a minimum of 6 courses. The total cost for these courses is $600-$800. The total number of hours the courses take is 106. The minimum wage in Canada is between $8.00/hr and $11.00 hr depending on the province/territory. Lifeguards in Canada earn between $10-$30/hr depending on the pool, number of certifications, years of experience and the province.

  • @coldtemperature In the U.S it a a little less to get certified however lifeguards at least were i live only get paid minimum wages which right now is $7.25/hr U.S. Dollar. Lifeguard are required to have a Lifeguarding cert, CPR: adult, child and infant. Some places also require AED and Oxygen as well as Water front Certs. these are all separate courses costing around $75 - $150 each.
