i really love what you are doing, he is so focused and enjoying what you are doing, i love this so much more than what i have seen with spin training with shanks. this is delightful! i love that you give him the chance to offer movements to, my little mare loves doing this, she gets very creative!

Wow very good! The only thing I didn't understand is how exactly do you teach him to yield away from you/the stick in the first place?

Yes you can teach her to do this and also slow down a bit. The click is great for that.

Hi, i was wondering how did you get him to back whenever youd back up in front of him, my horse used to be very pushy i started training him on the ground like that and its so far helped alot. i can get him to turn like that like u did and i can move his hindquarters 2 in that way i just cant get him to back up lol , thanks

First of all I use Clicker Training to have my horse offer to back up. Once he has offered it, it is really easy to get him out of my space. Something he thought about and was rewarded for it. So the task becomes very positive and easy to do.

Hi Judy!
I use Bermuda Pellets. My horses are not that picky. For them it doesnt have to be a big cookie, just something they like. You can pick what your horses like. Or what is available to you.
