Folks, I know he seems like he has all the answers. He is a nice guy, I know. But he does not have the answer to how you can transmit his power long distances, which he claims can be done, it can't. Europe is already trying wind and it's not working. Texas had a major power emergency back in Feb. 08 which he leaves out, cause? the wind stopped blowing. He is right about CNG and he's a good man, but he has been sold a bill of goods about some of the major problems with wind/Solar.

It is so sad, that the US government is so incompetent & so corrupt that it cannot do what 1 man can do! Kudos to you Mr. Pickens, for educating the masses. Because without it, our corrupt Congress/Bush being lobbied(more like bribery in my opinion) by Oil Companies, Arab fundamentalists/Saudi royal family, that Congress will do whatever it can to block your plain! We should of build windmills after the 1st gulf war, & maybe 911 would of never happened! Instead we are now slaves to Saudi Arabia!

Finally, one oil tycoon who is looking towards a cleaner future and not thinking in just short term. And you gotta love that name: T. Boone Pickins. So Texas. He's got my vote.
