Pistons rings can break if not careful, this is how I fit them.

  • If you are replacing rings, yuu need to take piston out, as oyu should hone the bore to help rings bed in.

  • Haha Mr Bluesman, thats why my car runs 11.0's and 124MPH, full street trim.

    No problems at all and Have driven everyday during our summer break.

    Must be to hard for to do to with breaking rings lol.

  • hey do you have to take the piston set up completly out to do the piston rings?

  • thats kind of weird.....i beleive the rings have to be compressed and not that tight when installed...but hey who am I

  • he has put his engine together 1000s of times. each burning oil. epic fail.

  • Never followed installation, way too fast, you must be in a hurry to go out...................
