Initial flight trial of a dream project. Humble start, but so much has been learned in a very short space of time....... This may yet become a reality.

  • Love the model, best of its kind i've seen. Flexwings on really climb on power, and descend on a cut throttle, pitch control just affects speed, perhaps u could try ignoring any pitch control, relying on the throttle and concentrate on turning? might make it simpler, or i could be talkin out me *rse! good luck to ya!

  • Yep, thanks for comment. Servo power was lacking causing the pitch up, but throttle effect was also noted thanks

  • just a thought.. do you think maybe the back of the wing is reflexed abit too much and is pitching the nose up high?

i think abit less reflex and it would be good? i might be wrong but just a thought :-)

    cheers,mark

  • Yep, good point and I will be fiddling with the reflex before next flight. Thanks for comment and good luck with yours aswell.

  • xD!

  • Funny. !

  • what a dumb video

  • Awesome model I would say the problems originate from having slightly too much reflex.

  • Thats awesome!

most realistic looking one so far without doubt!

shame it crashed..by the looks of the first run it looked like it would of flown really well, im making a nitro version at the moment (check out my vids) my new wing is going to be like yours but prob not as good! lol

good luck on the next flight, looking forward to seing the video :-)

    mark

  • Damn, thats a real shame.....looks like your onto a winner though, do you think you will have it fixed within the 6-8 weeks it will take klaus to heal his broken leg, lol.

Anyway, id buy one when you go into mass production, let me know.

    Your Aussie Buddy.......
