Its a very simple but powerful song. I know my guitar is barely audible but the playing is mostly correct ( i hope).

  • In this I believe he actually uses standard tuning this time (or coincidentelly it perfectly applies). I'm playing it right now and the open chords sound perfectly. This could be a pretty badass bonfire song, If I get some likes I will upload a video singing it :P.

  • @igdesaeger I learned how to play this song by watching the video of Devin playing it live at NAMM. I used the exact same shapes he did. I dont think it would too correct in standard.

  • put your tab up ;)

  • @iraph did it by ear. Maybe one day ill tab it out.

  • tab it out.

  • ..ps: Kawaii tuning is def. DADACE

  • I reckon the tuning used on the recording is in open c (CGCGCE), if you try unsing that tuning you will learn how much more sustain the open strings will add to the chords. This is really a minimum on fretwork though and sounds fabtastic. I am to lazy to post the tabs....(start with 5,4,3 beginning on the 4th string and use your ears for the rest of the intro, bridge/chorus would be 5,7,0 starting on d string, shifting to 7,7,0 on D string, shifting to 9,9,0 again on d string startet....aso.

  • So wait, what is the tuning for this song? :o

  • @dahudge9 Actually, Devin said on a recent tweet of his that the Kawaii tuning is D A D A C E

    :3

  • @dahudge9 now give me the tabs and i'll be happy, and do a cover for it xD

  • @dahudge9 what am i talking about that competely wrong I mean D A D A D F#. I think

  • @God69a Kawaii is in Open D major i think. Thats D F# D F# D A

  • @dahudge9 almost all his music, he uses a different tuning for the song "kawaii" which is actually what i want i want to learn ;-;
