I made a simple little puzzlebox based on plans I got from Bruce Viney's excellent site.

  • is it hard if you follow that plans and what types of tools would i need. im somewhat new but im in love with these boxes

  • @kevbot31 Not hard to follow at all. You can do it with a straight edge and a hand saw. Of course if you have better tools, it'll be easier, but they're not necessary. The "T-Plans" are very well written and easy to follow. If you haven't done much woodworking before, I'd plan on making three boxes. The first one will be a mess, the second one will have fewer mistakes and the third one will be perfect!

  • I wonder If it would slide easier if you greased the runners with bee's wax.

  • I made one, but it sucked!

  • Great video! thanks for the instructable. is there a way to make the box to have a larger compartment inside? i thought i could use thicker wood, but it doesn't increase the inside by much and makes the outside much larger...

    Thanks for your help.

  • @markdotnet cool!
