I looooove this video! Been on the zydeco scene for about 5 years & feel fortunate, indeed, to be in the Bay Area where we have the incredible good fortune to be able to see Andre perform regularly. He has it all -- SMOKIN' accordion playing, soulful singing, PLUS he can back up out-of-towners on drums, guitar & bass. Now about the dancers...the guy in the hat has it GOIN' ON! Unique, smooth style, but not ostentatious. Anyone know his name & where I can find him to dance with???

The first time I saw this video was about a year ago, and it inspired me to not only buy the DVD from "Miss Mona", but to travel to CA 3 times for zydeco dancing (the first one was to see Andre in Gardena, CA) and also to Buffalo Jamblaya Dance in Maryland. There is no zydeco to speak of in AZ, so traveling is necessary. Anyway, thanks Matthew and Andre, you guys helped introduce me to something wonderful!!
