Fresh casualties, rockets fired at villages, and still no sight of an end to the siege at Lebanon's Nahr al-Bared refugee camp.

New footage has also emerged from inside the camp, Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports.

  • "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." The British army called American Revolutionary Forces the 18th Century the equivalent of "terrorist." Today, it's a word that politicians use in the US to gain support for their self-serving policies.

  • Yeah, Seknight, I hate when things have to happen like this, it's sad.

Liberator is a flashy word, but the point is that in perspective, most people are doing what they consciously believe is "good," while labeling their enemy as pure evil, which is wrong...

  • Jimmy Carter wrote a book? let me guess - its a how he freed those hostages from Iran, right?

    the man's a genius.

  • Yeah, because clearly religion is such a good thing, particularly in this situation. *rolls eyes*

  • liberator is a flashy word

  • that town/camp looks as it was completely destryoed by the Lebenese army's artillery.

who's going to compensate the civilians who lost ther homes? why are Palestinians in Lebanon being treated that way? why dont they try to negotiate with the Fatah-Islam instead of destroying the whole area?

  • thanks you alan !

i really don't know what started this crisiss :(

but i have been to lebanon twice so it hurts me when i see things develop this way :(

  • So that is why a buzzword is bad, it has implications attached to them that blind perspective... So if you would like to learn something, you should approach it differently, especially with word choice. That is why they are not called terrorist in this news, good job aljazeera, way to be objective.. I wish America had news like this... Bravo
