@sackvilleshredder123 except most of the time they don't and you don't need one to mute the strings when tapping or sweeping unless you are shitty at it.

@neoclassic09 andy james and guthrie govan use them.....theyre incredible players. A string dampener gets rid of the string noise when rolling fingers during sweeps and multi finger tapping, this guy can play. Whats pathetic is your lack of understanding of this, he can play...... dummy

How can he play so fast yet take so long to get to the whammy bar? It gets on my nerves that he keeps interrupting his own playing when he reaches for it.
