A chilly spring day on the Tieton River Trail west of Yakima on highway 12 (White Pass). Easy access as the trail head is just across the road from the Oak Creek wildlife feeding station. A great 1/2 day "quickie" at aprox. 9 miles round trip. Some great views and a few challenging sections on the lower end of the Tieton River canyon. Part 2 coming soon.
