I take MTX and acid folic for my arthritis and it works like a miracle.

hey jane! glad you're feeling better today. mtx suppresses your immune system so doctors suggest taking folic acid (i think it's like iron) to help build it a bit & also help to suppress some of the side effects associated with mtx like the nausea, etc.
