  • The 'country' doctor has been regulated out of business. Hospitals have been regulated into negative balance sheets as well as the judicial system rewarding people for things beyond control. The cost of training the doctors has sky rocketed and is highly regulated. There are many things that can be done but the media and those in Congress and the departments need to back off and let the innovation take place that allows cost cutting ideas to flourish. Yes there will be some stumbles.

  • Doctor, let's cut your salary first.

  • any by "low cost, high quality medical care" they mean "high cost, low quality medical care".
