The Bone Doctor plays an old Ernest Tubb country and western classic. God bless and thanks for watching, my friends.

  • Hi from the UK This was one of the first songs I ever played. The only words from the song that spring to mind now are No 9 coal and "a lot of men didn't and a lot of men died", maybe overnight my brain will recover the rest of the words. I loved your organ version. At the moment I am thinking of doing a vid with Organs sounds from my "Yamaha Theatre Organ" I'll try to send it you you for your approval I havn't sent vids before so I may not get thro to you. Hope to hear from you.

  • I went and listened. Wow. That is some rig. It sounded like a big Robert Morton TPO. I would love to hear more TPO stuff on that. Splendid work, my friend. Thanks for sharing.

  • I love the way you play this song, It is my all time favorite of 16 tons. I even like it better than the one with Johnny Cash singing. On another note...I can't believe anyone hit the dislike button of course it was either a very clumsy person or someone with ears that don't function properly. LOL.

  • I am just beginning and would love to be able to play as well as you- How should I start out? Thank You!! You are the bomb!

  • Congratulations!!.

    Nice Job over there...

  • Incredible!! Well done!!

  • Hey Dude! You sound great!

  • I love this arrangement! Dark and moody, as this tune deserves, but with a nice swing and some fantastic tricks. The bit with the trems off, and playing as they're switched, is fantastic - it lends this almost a sinister churchy sound, like some sort of music for a quiet, brooding sermon.

  • You keep on amazing me with your enormous amount of postings on YouTube. This one brought memories of a 45rpm recording of Tennesee Ernie Ford my mother played along with other songs from the '50s & 60's on her trusty Emerson Phonograph. Dave in PA

  • Very Kewl! Would love to hear you do The Haunted Mansion theme from the Disney ride of the same name. ;-)

Nice job. Very entertaining. Thanks for posting it!
