  • Thanks for the confirmation. Is your copy good enough to upload as i would love to hear it again.

  • Have just uploaded it. Not perfect but listenable. Hope it's as good as you remember it.

  • Is this group the same group that recorded a poppy type song called Happy Land? It rings bells in my mind that i used to have a 45 by skip bifferty of that name. The trouble is that so much was happening musically that i couldnt keep up with every song and artist. It was a wonderful era to have grown up in.

  • Yes it is the same group. I have the single but it's not in the best of conditions.

  • Great song. Do you have Disappointing Day by any chance?

  • Sorry, don't have that one.

  • The whole album is great. A lost psych gem.

  • anyone got the lyrics for this?

  • @losjets2 That 45 would probably be pretty valuable today, wouldn't it? It's still hard for me to believe that this genre of british psche pop isn't more sought out... It's amazing music!

  • Excellent song. Especially love the guitar solo and vocals on the closing coda. Along with Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera, the best of the undiscovered brit psych bands

  • Best song of my mid teens!! Loved this and saw them live, Graham Bell threw up on stage!!

  • @losjets2 Mick(ey) Gallagher and John Turnbull were with Ian Dury and the Blockheads; Mickey also did sessions w/ The Clash on Sandanista.

  • weeeeeheee...:))

  • so is this graphic an album cover of theirs? man, I could see that hanging up in my livingroom somewhere!!

  • Really. What were they like live and what band were you in at the time?

  • played the Marquee with them in 67/8.
