June 4 - 7th 2010 - 25th Anniversary of the Goonies in Astoria, Oregon.

The majority of these images were taken during the 2005 20th anniversary event which took place over the course of a weekend.

that's it, i have to go. i have seen The Goonies at least almost a thousand times. I started by watching it with my 11 year old cousin. I was sure it was going to be just another kids movie, hence the title, The Goonies, but after the first scene, I realized that this was going to be a perfect movie. It is, and always will be, EVEN if the long awaited sequel breaks out, my favorite (I may be wrong, as a sequel with the original cast could lighten me up.).

hi my name is johnny,im from norway,have been a goonies fan all my life. i was in astoria nov 2009. And im returning to us on the 27 of april. i will buy a corvette in la,then spend some weeks in san francisco at a friends place.

I ges i will be in astoria on the first of june,do you know anyone whos renting out apartments for a week?

I was at the house in oct 2009,and i hope i can be there 4 of june 2010,that would be so much fun,but its an long as jurny from norway.Remember when it came out,i dint know what kind of magic i a had rented,well ifirst blood part 2 did also come that year,and i had a really good movie night to look forward to. i was like 12 then. I just got back from washington and made the drive down to Astoria for the day. all i can say is WOW!!! I'm 32 and watched goonies countless times as a kid, and you just can't put it into words as going to the places where they filmed your favorite movie. YOU MUST make the trip to Ecola State Park! They filmed the haystack rock and lighthouse lounge there! Its is by far the most amazing place I've ever seen!!!!
