Saw "The Barbarian" over the summer, and was greatly surprised that one of the all-time great actresses and humanitarians, Myrna Loy, did that scene in the pool. But then, again, this was the Precode Era, so these golden girls of the screen had to do what they were told in order to keep their jobs, but what a revelation this is. Myrna was Hollywood royalty, and this was one of her career highlights....like a diamond in the rough.

I agree, its racy for Myrna who apparently lived quite an unscandalous life for Hollywood elite. But it is interesting to note that according to many sources she wasnt actually naked but wore a skin-coloured body suit.

No wonder. One of Hollywood's best kept secrets. Just like body doubles, or stunt doubles, for that matter. And they called Hollywood the Dream Factory for a reason. This is proof.
