Becca Smith demonstrates how you too can knit with a crochet hook! The technique is easily learned by using a knooking tool: a crochet hook with a long cord attached to it.

  • By inserting your hook from right to left you are actually doing the same thing as knitting through the back leg of the stitch. Though it would not look that different in garter stitch, once you get into stockinette stitch (all knits on side, all purls on the other, very flat) it is is going to cause the stitches to sit twisted which could make your work not lay flat or to cause it to skew.

  • Brilliant instructions, simply explained and easy to follow. Thank you, can't wait to get started.
