You can't compare US and UK murder rates since UKs is based on final deposition. A murder isn't counted as a murder in the UK until someone has been convicted of it. In the US it is based on arrest data. Also factoring in 1967 Criminal Law Act makes comparing the two more laughable.
Violent crime>assault. Try rechecking your statistics. There's a reason why England and Wales has the highest violent crime rate in Europe and among first world countries.

People are human they make mistakes, but what is disturbing is that having pulled a gun on the crowd, he gets physical with the guy in the green jacket. Cops all over the world seem to share this trait, of not being able to recognize when to back off and take a reality check.
