Che sia un tenore drammatico non lo metto in dubbio, ma grande proprio no. In questo brano ha un'emissione di voce addirittura caricaturale. Con questa voce, forse, potrebbe essere un discreto tenore wagneriano,

ma il repertorio italiano richiede ben altro.

I've heard him live a few yeas ago in Cagliari... All throaty sound, no projection and the high notes were (many) out of tune. He is a baryton, not a tenor!
