Amos Struck ( http://www.stockphotopress.com ) interviewed Kelly Thompson, the former COO of iStockphoto and now SVP Product Development at Getty Images at the iStockalypse 2011 Event in Milan. He talk about his new role at Getty and about the redesign of the supplier channels into Getty Images, Photos.com, iStockphoto and Thinkstock.
NOTE: This interview was taken on October 2011. Kelly is no longer SVP of product development at Getty Images.

I've been a microstock contributor since 2006 and I'm really unhappy with istock. I'm non-exclusive and now only get 17% commission. I have seen a lot of exclusives and non-excluives complaining about earnings falling.
I really wish istock/Getty would allow more ways for non-exclusives to sell images for higher prices. 17% commission takes away my motivation to use istock. From the outside, it looks like istock is losing buyers to other sites and has a tarnished reputation with contributors.
