Violeta Urmana is one of the worst singers I have heard...the others: Jennifer Wilson and (of course) Dolora Zajick...
The three singers are ugly and bad singers, specially for Wagner...

I pity those who paid the high tickets prices to see these performances; they were all extremely subpar except for the conducting.
Urmana alters the libretto altogether to accommodate her marked limitations. In less tarnished years, this kind of performance would have been booed off of the world's least important operatic stages-now it's lauded.

@chatbud a bit yes. shes almost 60 though and still sounds great. holdin it together far better than some legends that are still hangin around today.
