Congressman Don Manzullo (R-IL) spoke on the House floor today about the proposed cap and trade energy plan and how it will devastate U.S. manufacturing and put millions more Americans on the unemployment lines. More than 100 local manufacturers attended energy forums in Rockford and Crystal Lake, IL Monday that Manzullo hosted to share his concerns with cap and trade and the alternative bill he is supporting that will create more American-made energy, clean our environment, and put Americans back to work.
I honor this man for standing up for what is in the best interests of all Americans. We need more representatives like this man!!

What are you, a Marxist? Geez, convert to Judaism already.
The fact of the matter is that the Jews are destroying America and control both parties, so you can forget about any pollution standards, because they don't want it. Get rid of the Jews (Banking, finance, media, education, etc.) and you may actually be able to clean things up, literally and figuratively.

Cap and Trade is Idiotic Economics Obama style, this tax will hurt the same people they claim to help, I cannot stand hypocrites, I mean Democrats which is one in the same. Tree Hugging and so called Global Warming is away to steal our freedom and scam our money from the strong arm of Government.

Government is always the problem and never the solution. If any other Company scammed like the Government someone would go to jail but it is okay if the same Government does it.

They are both guilty too of too much spending. I have never seen soooo much spending...very scary.

The right time certainly is NOT during a recession. We need to have alternative fuels in place...like nuclear energy...or clean coal. We need to use our resources wisely to stimulate the economy and work on other alternatives.

What is the argument, we can't implement new pollution standards now because American manufacturers are having a tough time? When exactly is the right time to start? Somebody needs to bite the bullet and take the first step. Morocco, Mexico, and Asia will clean up their act when their citizens start dropping ill. Or maybe the U.S. should have signed the Kyoto treaty for worldwide pollution standards. Pollution is associated with cancer, birth defects, you-name-it.
