When I purchase a computer I beleive I should be able to do whatever is within my ability to do. I am not advocating piracy, but if I choose to change the OS on a computer I purchased, so be it. Illegal, perhaps, but how the hell would they ever find out, and has anyone ever been of this?

its called hackintosh i have done it to many computers for me and my friends and indeed i have been able to install and run mac OS on an HP and many ibms and dells

As long as you are purchasing apples product, Apple shouldn't have a problem with it. Pay no mind to the apple shithead who put that little comment in their EULA. I work in a apple techshop and a few techs have put apple on their pc laptops just cuzz they can. I wouldn't be too happy if apples shitty logic board died on me within the first 2 years and apple tries to force me into buying another one for 600-800$ Down with locked hardware!!

Abide by the Apple EULA.Use a Apple labeled Power PC,G3 or G4 tower and modify it with quality PC parts in it.

I think this is completely illegal

For everyone riding him for saying "ex" instead of "ten," get a life. I've heard TONS of people say "ex" before. If you hear "oh es ex" and don't know what someone is talking about, you're the "idiot." If you DO know what they mean, but find enjoyment out of harassing someone over something so stupid, find a real hobby. =) Thanks.
Well, authorities state that downloading music is illegal but people still do it. I know I do, I know thousands of people who aren't so different, with movies in the equation also. So why is this so different? Music companies are losing money from downloading, now Apple will. You know what I say to that? Good. Their stocks are running at $180/share, and they've profited billions from their iPods. If you say this is an issue then you might as well discuss illegal music and movie downloads, too.

The difference is, a company isn't selling the music. It's like this. If people used Limewire, paid them for each song, and Limewire made all the money and didn't give anything to the artist, that would be illegal. Its kinda like that

There are many problems in our planet, and this is probably the smallest, most irrelevant, arrogant issue to be discussing.
Worry about shit that really matters, people that matter - this isn't it.

Very true, well not sure how it's arrogant, but the shit with viacom is a more pressing matter for now.
