This video shows a sodium silicate solution with coppersulfate crystals at the bottom of the container. When waterglass is combined with a selection of different metals in solution (in this case copper sulfate), the waterglass would cause the metals to precipitate, forming stalacmites. This video was taken using interval timer shooting and coverted into a short movie.
