TOC's Mandatory Death Penalty Campaign Video

http://theonlinecitizen.com is urging the Singapore government to grant a moratorium on the MDP for drug trafficking. There are many serious flaws in the legislation as highlighted by Singapore politicians, lawyers, the Law Society of Singapore, bloggers and ordinary S'poreans.

In this video, TOC highlights these views.

Presently, 22-year old Malaysian Yong Vui Kong is in S'pore's death row for drug trafficking. He is at the moment (4 April 2010) awaiting the Court of Appeal's judgement on his appeal against the sentence of death.

Vui Kong was only 19 when he was arrested in S'pore in 2007.

I bet these people who are interviewed never even seen a real heroin, never seen the effects of drugs on a person, how a drug trafficer can ruin a family... It's like interviewing Budhist what they know and think about Jesus... Try interviewing someone who have seen the dangers of drugs first hand and see a totally different set of answers... I personally support mandatory death sentence for drug trafficking...

@deadBEE "Mandatory" refers to the sentencing phase -- AFTER he has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and convicted of a capital offence, not a presumption of guilt. And Gandhi was a fuckwit who thought the Jews should have marched willingly into the death camps to be exterminated en masse -- after all, better a genocidal Holocaust and pacifistic slavery than to harm even one hair on a Nazi, lest the whole world goes blind.
