  • Rode one today, for fun. I have to say very impressed its a manual box you can here it change. In D its super thru town, in sport its really good, hold gears changes right time every time. I tryed the tiptronoic but found sport mode spot on. Very quick carnt really make a mistake on it. Still got engine braking as its a DSG box. Worth a go. Would be super if it where on my Triumph Tiger 1050. Dont think micr/scooter automatic think formula and rally technology. Great engine, brakes and box.

  • You can still shift the gears manually. People are so not ready for anything new it's not funny. By the way it seems that people have no problem dishing out 15k plus for a Harley but always complain about the price of Honda. Why is that?

  • quiero esa moto soy de peru

  • @lamentconfig100 more accurately VFR means V-Four Racing. The engine was derived from the RC45 racing bike.

  • @kanelupis I agree... more weight, less fuel efficient, and frankly less fun to ride. I have a 2003 VFR800 and just picked up a new 2009 (the last of the truly great VFR).

  • @theblackbmxer

I know what DCT is.... The VFR has turned into an expensive scooter....

  • "Idiot proof." Great.

  • "Fully idiot proof the DTC system"...... Doh!

  • I'm a competent sportbike rider...... I have a stick shift car, and yes I still think the DCT is downright brilliant. In fact if Honda produced a sportbike with it for an affordable price, id buy one tomorrow.

  • @riyusVids69

    two reasons.....

    Because "VFR" means "V-four". The 250 isn't a V4.

and second, it's meant to directly compete with the Ninja 250. Kawasaki branded their 250 as a sportbike, so Honda put their 250 in their sportbike lineup.

  • Awesome bike. Basically Firefird cbr1000rr + touring all-in-one, and ABS for free.

  • @dogg5306 What is to shamed for?
