The 2008 Detroit Auto Show has opened its doors for the press, and the array of new cars, trucks and SUVs on display is truly staggering. This annual event, which is officially known as the North American International Auto Show, is the single biggest event in the automotive world.

That kind of exposure has drawn the biggest debuts of the year, and this year's 2008 Detroit Auto Show is no exception.
