Interesting that the English lyrics are - at times - so different from the original Portoguese(sp) ones.
Those are more stream-of-conscience and mention March being the end of Summer, which it is in Brazil.. Jobim is one of the greats.

This is my Favorite song of all time... It was only 5 years ago that I found out that the person that sang this wonderful song of hope killed Herself... Jumped to Her death... Is there you tube in Heaven??? My comment would be.. Thank you..

@SelectCircle im always surprised to find so many versions of this song.. this version by Susannah was the first one i heard and i was impressed by the way she transitions between languages flawlessly, she makes it seem so natural and effortless-=-= its so great-- definitely my favorite..:)
