It says right on the album cover... "Arranged & Conducted by Sy Oliver"

TY for the best "begin the beguine" ever recorded.

Yeah, I see all the dilemma regarding when this came out and if Tommy Dorsey is on this track. I dig Frank singing with Tommy Dorsey but I gotta say he started developing his own style later. He's one of the few who got better thanks to drinking and smoking and staying up all night. He sounded smooth with Dorsey and more raw and nasty on his own. Whatever the case may be, this record is great.

It says it's a tribute to Tommy Dorsey, so it's probably a different band

Wrong date or not, this is perfect. Simply amazing.

This is a 1946 live radio recording arranged by Axel Stordahl.

@vHumboldt77 They got sometimes together, but only on live shows and such. The best known concert should be the 1955 concert on "Sinatra: New York".

@waltandrus - I agree, Sinatra broke up with Dorsey in 1942 and to my knowledge they never got back. And, where's Dorsey's trombone?. This is clear Sinatra in his Columbia years between 1943 and 1951...
This IS NOT The Tommy Dorsey.Sinatra was already on his own when this was recorded...
