1985 NBA Draft: Karl Malone

Karl Anthony Malone is a retired American professional basketball player.

Born in Summerfield, Louisiana, he was nicknamed in college as the Mailman for his consistency ("the mailman always delivers") and his work in the post. Malone twice won the NBA Most Valuable Player award. He is generally considered one of the greatest power forwards in NBA history, and has scored the second most points in NBA history, trailing only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

@samtheman7975 Clyde Drexler won a ring with Houston in 1995. Granted, Jordan had just come back and wasn't the same as either title run, but still, Drexler doesn't belong on that list.

@oakraid83 That was Thurl Bailey who became a Mormon, not Karl Malone. About the Mormons hating black people into the church, they weren't allowed until the late 1970's.

Dam him and Blake Griffin have alot of similarities... Both about the same size, 6'9 250... powerful dunkers, athletic, strong, great rebounders.. and both wore #32!!
