I love Sam, I think he is my favorite!! I hope they find him a girlfriend that isn't in love with someone else, doesn't die and isn't crazy. I've just started the books and they always focus on Sookie and whoever she is with, so the series seems to be the only hope of Sam having a decent relationship.

It's pretty similar, but there are changes too. Plus there are two sideplots which usually involve Jason or Tara. They don't appear as much in the books. Plus, Lafayette doesn't die. They're keeping him for a while as far as I know.
I love the show and book, each in their own way. They are both awesome. :)

it's kinda like the books
but there are some bits that aren't in the books but are in the show
but if you like books you will LOVE the show it's amazing
