June 7, 2007 at about 8:00 PM, Bellevue Fire Department responded to a three story residential structure fire at the 2900 block of 110 Ave SE (in the "Beaux Arts Village" area). A neighbor called 911 when she saw smoke rising from the house across the street and flames located near the back porch (note: this info is not verified by BFD). At least four fire trucks responded and two aid cars. Firefighters on scene determined it was a chimney fire and were quickly able to get it "under control". The owner(s) of the house were not home and an Eastside Fire Investigator was called to the scene. I do not know the cause of this fire. A Bellevue Police Officer was also called for traffic control.
