An Honest talk with a Loving Birth Mom

I went to Haiti to meet the 5 children we are adopting. 4 of them are siblings by birth. While at the orphanage I was also able to meet their birth mother. She loves her children so much and puting them up for adoption was a heartbreaking decision for her and is out of love and wanting safety and opportunity for her children. She agreed to do a video telling us honestly how she came to this decision. I am in awe of her bravery in such a hard decision and have a lot of respect and love for her. She will always be a Mom in this family!

Thank you for your replies and your compassion towards their mother.  She's a lovings, strong, wonderful person that just wants more for her children. I can not imagine being in her shoes.

We do very much want to keep the children in contact with her.

We are in the process of a Haitian adoption. This video is fabulous! What a great gift for your children. I hope to do this for our kids. I think we'll be able to meet the birthmom. Thanks so much!
