I think fractals are like the universe; it hasn't an end, because in Ultra Fractal you're limited by you computer's memory, as we're limited by our bodies to "Zoom into the universe" in the real life.

I'm using this software, and when you zoom in a lot of times, holy fucking shit, there's more and more, and more, and more, and then you computer starts to lag. But as you said, you can zoom in infinitely

@sockcutter ya i just got apophysis myself but the beta 3D link isant up anymore so im having some troble i also have photoshop but for animation i supose that would create to huge of a file and would take years to make just a small video. But anyway if you could help me out with a link to apophysis 3d hack that would be great and maby you could give me some pointers on fractals in genral if you recomind any other programs plz let me know

O_o ok im 14 and have never seen one of these before and thats just the wierdest thing ive ever seen. i know its reapeating but does it ever end?

Theoretically, you can zoom into the fractal infinitely, but in practical terms you are limited by computing power and time. This video, which is 2 separate clips merged, took over two days total time to render and I didn't really get that deep into the fractal -each frame takes progressively longer than the previous frame to render - with a more powerful PC and lots of time I could have zoomed in a loot further.
