The noise you hear is actually the harmonics of the ethernet signal, not wifi signal. And there's no way to stop it, unless you use properly grounded FTP/STP cable for all of your ethernet needs.

are you a ham operator ?? neverheard that you can turn ur cable from de unit on a ferriet iron powder ring to eliminate the interferens ??
the FT-450 is a great rig . any other rig will do the same with that interferens
